Unit 11

Science of robotics is the central theme in this genre. Also it is fictional so there are no boundaries to the imagination of the writer. This genre is about aliens coming to earth for a particular reason and invading. This is also fiction. In this genre, there are certain characters that often have fictional powers. Usually, they put them to good use and protect innocent civilians and fight the villains. 

Page 1-2 The first page is set in the military base in Nevada. In this scene, the head of the U.S army Peter Smith is discussing with head of engineers for the U.S army, Dr Michael Graves that the American soldiers in Afghanistan can't break through the line of Afghan soldiers and that they need a new plan to push them back. Page 3 Graves suggests that he can build a machine that will help the Americans win the war. He explains he, and his team of engineers can create a 15ft war machine that will push back the Afghan army. It will include machine guns, grenade launchers and will be heavily armoured. In the end they grant him permission to go ahead with this plan. Page 4 They build the machine and show it to Peter Smith who is impressed and says they can send it over to Afghanistan in the next week. They send it over on the back of a cargo plane. Page 5 Next scene is in Afghanistan where the robot is introduced to the American soldiers and a mechanic named Steve...

TITAN 2053 A team of engineers and scientists lead by Dr Michael Graves create a robot for the American army to help them overcome opposition in Afghanistan. The robot is equipped with highly deadly weapons and is programmed to fight. They release it out in Afghanistan and all goes well for the U.S military until the robot starts to become out of control destroying everything and everyone in it's path. The two sides have to come together to shut down the robot. 

Alien Invasion                   -               (Attack on The White House) This is fiction in which aliens attempt to invade earth, either through military conquest, political subversion or a campaign of mass extermination.
